On our search for new business stories from China for our future case studies, our team traveled to Shanghai, Qingdao, Dongfanghong and Beijing in August 2017. Our goal was to observe the development, challenges and management style of companies from various industries. During this field trip, we visited Knorvay, a laser pointer manufacturer in Shanghai, as well as Goldmyk and Ever Honest, representatives of the textile industry in Qingdao. Then we journeyed to Heilongjiang province in China’s Northeast, to visit Shendingfeng Black Bee, a multiple international award-winning honey producer.
